CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE INFORMATION

Printing Instructions

Selecting a form below will load it into the acrobat reader, which will allow you to print it.
Install the Acrobat Reader if you do not yet have it installed on your computer.

Any instructions needed to complete the licensing forms are included with each form. Once you have saved the file on your computer, you must start the Acrobate Reader program and open the file in that program. You can then print the instructions and the form using Acrobat Reader. Forms must be printed on a laser, inkjet, or bubblejet printer.

Information for continuing education providers regarding exam requirements for self study courses

We are enforcing the NAIC Recommended Guidelines regarding exams for online courses which include all of the following:

Final Assessment (exam) Criteria:
  • Minimum of 25 questions for courses of 4 hours or less and a score of 70% or greater
  • Minimum of 50 questions for courses that are 5 hours or more and a score of 70% or greater
  • At least enough questions to fashion a minimum of 2 versions with at least 50% of questions being new/different in each subsequent version
  • Inability to print the exam or to launch the exam prior to reviewing material
  • Impartial "disinterested third party" - proctor/monitor who verifies identity and processes affidavit testifying the student received no outside assistance. This would be an individual with no family or financial relationship to the student.
We are applying these same requirements to all self study courses including CBT, Internet or Self Study.

Approved Continuing Education Seminar Listing
Acrobat Reader - Attached is a calendar of the approved programs (Seminars/Workshops) sponsored by various organizations that are open to all agents and is being held in the Nebraska area. This listing is revised the first of each month with the seminars that are scheduled at that time. Additional classes may be scheduled throughout the month, the notification of additional class dates must be received by this Department at least two weeks prior to the date the course is to be given for credit to be allowed. You may also contact the Department.
