NOTICE

RE: ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 80 OF THE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT RULES
Chapter 80 of the Insurance Department Rules has now been filed with the Secretary of State for adoption.
Chapter 80 entitled, "SYNTHETIC GUARANTEED INVESTMENT CONTRACTS REGULATION" was adopted to implement Neb. Rev. Stat. § 44-708.01 by setting forth the terms and conditions under which a life insurance company may issue synthetic guaranteed investment contracts. The rule was filed with the Secretary of State on March 28, 2005 with implementation date to be April 2, 2005.
