VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHTS
Barbara Graham
Barbara volunteered for a public presentation in October at the Aurora Senior Center. Paula Salsbury-Haisch, Medicare Fraud Information Specialist, spoke to the Medicare beneficiaries and the pre-enrollees who attended.
Dick Messersmith
Dick Messersmith gave a public presentation at the Phelps County Senior Center in Holdrege to an estimated 70 people. He spoke about Medicare Fraud and Abuse, Medicare Supplement Insurance, Prescription drug assistance, Medicaid, and gave general NICA Program Information.
Seward Senior Center
Mary Wilson conducted a Medicare legal workshop in Seward on March 25, at the senior center. Mary did a presentation followed by individual
appointments.
Jim Barry Speaking in Texas
Jim and Wilma Barry have been in Texas this winter and Jim has spoken with retirees and senior citizens in Brownville, Mission, and Edeburg, Texas about Medicare Fraud and Abuse, ECHO, NICA, Medicare Supplement Insurance, and Original/traditional Medicare.

For those of you who travel, are policymakers, researchers, or are just interested parties, the Kaiser Family Found-ation launched a new Internet resource that offers comprehensive and current health information for all 50 states. State Health Facts Online, at
www.statehealthfacts.kff.org offers health policy information on a broad range of issues such as managed care, health insurance coverage and the uninsured, Medicaid, Medicare, women's health, etc.
This free resource allows users to easily view information for a single state or compare and rank data across all 50 states and compare it.
