United Healthcare discontinues $71 HMO Plan

United Healthcare of the Midlands is no longer selling a $71 Premium HMO product. Members previously enrolled in the plan have been notified and will be rolled into UHC's $0 premium HMO plan effective 1/1/04. Beneficiaries who lose this plan will also have a Guarantee Issue Opportunity to purchase a Medicare supplement policy plan A, B, C, or F.

UHC continues to offer one $0 premium HMO to residents of Douglas County and two $0 premium PPOs available to residents of Burt, Cass, Douglas, Otoe, Sarpy, and Washington counties in Nebraska.

Volunteer Appreciation Drawing
