The NICA Program Office in conjunction with the NICA Regional Representatives has already made plans for the fall updates. Mark your calendar and plan on attending the update training. We have a day full of exciting topics, review material, reference materials and new handouts. Of course, we'll provide lunch to keep your energy up throughout the day.Please note the date and time that the trainings are available. This is located on page 4 of this newsletter. You will receive an invitation in the mail confirming the date, time and place of the training one month before. It is important that all active volunteers attend the updates in order to continue their volunteer work with the NICA Program.
I enjoy the updates, as it is a great time to talk with all of the NICA Volunteers. The update also gives everyone the opportunity to take advantage of each other's experience and knowledge regarding clients, cases and volunteer work. I am sure that you will enjoy yourself and lean something new, too. I look forward to seeing everyone this fall at the updates.
