This is the twenty-second edition of the NICA Newsletter. The first issue was published in December 1993. There have been so many volunteers that I wanted to make sure everyone knows why we publish the NICA Newsletter.

Your newsletter is a primary source of information regarding Medicare and health insurance changes, insurance industry news, NICA progress updates and other interesting information.

Because the purpose of the newsletter is to communicate information to you, it is important that your newsletter be readable and useful. Therefore, if you have any suggestions regarding the format or content of the newsletter, please feel free to call me at (402) 471-4506.

Another source of new information are updates to your training manual. All NICA Volunteers will receive updates with this newsletter. Please read the material and update your manuals right away.
